Hi, I’m Robin

My journey has always been driven by a deep curiosity about the mind-body connection and a desire to understand how we as humans heal, grow and thrive. With a Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, a Bachelor’s in Exercise Science/Kinesiology, a Diploma in Positive Psychology and a Certification in Feminine Embodiment Coaching, I bring a unique, integrative approach to somatic coaching and embodied healing.

As a physiotherapist, somatic embodiment coach and therapeutic yoga teacher, my work is informed by postgraduate training in trauma response, nervous system education and positive psychology. Blending these disciplines, I support individuals to deepen their internal awareness (interoception), regulate their nervous system and process emotions in a trauma-sensitive way.

My approach is both practical and transformative, offering tools to help you reconnect with your body, cultivate resilience and navigate life’s challenges with greater ease and self-trust.

I am a life-long learner and am always studying, refining and practicing what I’m learning.

My Story

Despite my fascination with the body, I used to treat mine like a machine, demanding high performance with little rest and frustration when it didn’t work the way I wanted it to. Knowledge was both a gift and a burden: I was hyper-aware of every sensation and quick to jump into treatment, but slow and often avoidant when it came to simply being with what my body was trying to tell me. Pain meant something to fix, not something to listen to with compassion.

After years of chronic pain from injuries, navigating auto-immune disease, adenomysosis and eventually burning out, I longed for a different relationship with my body. One that felt less clinical and more like a partnership. Instead of endlessly analysing symptoms or trying to fix myself, I wanted to appreciate my body, to stop fighting it and to feel at home in my own skin. That journey taught me what it means to turn toward my body with compassion instead of criticism. I know how it feels to be exhausted, in pain, or disconnected from yourself and I also know it’s possible to find another way.

That’s why my heart goes out to anyone who feels stuck in cycles of pain, illness, exhaustion or shame about their body. I’ve been there. Maybe for you it isn’t chronic pain but a sense of disconnection or distrust of your body. Maybe it’s a lack of somatic safety due to trauma. Maybe it’s the exhaustion of always trying to keep up. We live in a culture that profits from us feeling dissatisfied with ourselves but we don’t have to keep playing that game.

I’ve learned that healing begins when we turn toward our bodies with compassion and curiosity. When we stop resisting or suppressing sensations and emotions, and instead listen to their messages, transformation becomes possible. My deepest desire is to support you in finding that shift and renegotiate your relationship with your body so you can experience relief, resilience and a new sense of wholeness.

Today, my work is grounded in helping others do the same: to build trust with their bodies, to listen for the wisdom in sensations and emotions and to discover what healing and wholeness can look like for them.
